This heavy duty 50 Amp 125/250 Volt power cord, is compatible with generators utilizing a NEMA 14-50R Outlet.

The most common application for this cord is to temporarily supply power from a generator to a manual transfer-switch inlet box.

Nice heavy cord!

Bought this item for backup. Havent tried it yet but the connections fit nice and snug into the inlet box and generator. Very thick and solid and has nice weight to it. Not light but is easy to carry when curled up properly. I laid the cord out in the sun to make it more flexible and pliable to handle. In cold weather I would assume that it would be very stiff. Fortunately I live in sunny Southern California and it doesnt get to freezing temperatures very often. Ill add additional comments after I put it in use.

50 amp cable, with retaining ring that secures the cable from coming loose.

I very much like the large retaining ring that screws into the outlet. So in addition to the push and twist 50 amp plug, the retaining ring screws into the outlet preventing it from coming loose. The cable also is heavy duty cable you would expect for a 50 amp cable. I'm very happy with this purchase.
